A Cyclist (Japanese: サイクリング Cycling) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation IV games. They are young men and women on bicycles who wear spandex.
They generally use a variety of Pokémon, but tend to favor Flying, Fire, and Electric types. They seem to be the Generations IV and V form of the Generation III Triathlete. In Generation IV, Cyclists are commonly found on cycling roads.

Trivia
- In German, the Biker and the Cyclist were both called "Bikers" prior to Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The female version of the trainer class is now the proper feminine "Bikerin".
- In Generation V, Bikers and Cyclists will alter the speed of their bikes, depending on if the player is holding down the B-button.
