Echoed Voice (Japanese: エコーボイス Echo Voice) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation V. It was TM49 from Generation V to Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

Effect

Echoed Voice deals damage.

Its base power increases by 40 each consecutive turn it is used, up to a maximum of 200. After reaching its maximum, using it consecutively simply maintains the increased power. However, the power will not increase during a round and will only increase once per round (regardless of how many Pokémon used it). Even if the move misses or fails to inflict damage (e.g. due to being protected against), the base power will still increase as long as the move is executed.

Echoed Voice is a sound-based move.

Generation V

If used on a Pokémon behind a substitute, it hits that Pokémon's substitute.

Generation VI onwards

Echoed Voice can now hit Pokémon even if they are behind a substitute.
