The Hometown Muffin serves no purpose other than to complete Request 48: "The Taste of Home". It is obtained from Floaro after giving him 3 Hearty Grains, 2 Hopo Berries, and 1 Razz Berry. The item is immediately consumed by the player after obtaining it; it is unable to be viewed in the satchel or be interacted with in any way.
A baked treat made from Berries and other ingredients, which is often eaten in regions such as Galar. It is beloved by a surprising number of Pokémon.

The recipe Floaro uses to make the Hometown Muffin is similar to the recipe for the Jubilife Muffin, which instead requires two Hearty Grains as well as one Cake-Lure Base.
