Seed Flare (Japanese: シードフレア Seed Flare) is a damage-dealing Grass-type move introduced in Generation IV. It is the signature move of Shaymin.

Effect

Seed Flare inflicts damage and has a 40% chance of lowering the target's Special Defense stat by two stages.

Seed Flare cannot be used in a battle.

Seed Flare's base power was reduced to 100.

The user absorbs pollutants, then emits a powerful shock wave from its body to attack its target.
User	First Used In	Notes
	Shaymin absorbs any pollutants around it into its body from the seeds on its back, causing the flowers on its head to turn purple or black, depending on how much is absorbed. Then, Shaymin's body glows light green, the flower on its head glows pink, and it explodes, creating a huge, light green explosion all around it. In the Reverse World, it causes a portal to the real world to form.

	Sky Forme Shaymin absorbs any pollutants around it using the red flower petal on its neck. The color of the petal changes to purple or black depending on how much pollutant is absorbed. In the Reverse World, it causes a portal to the real world to form.
